Gregor "120" Ross:
Leader, Guitar and Vocals
Background:
18 years on Guitar. 7 years Teaching Music/History. Has
more guitars than eBay.
Performance Experience:
Played with Walking Sam’s Dice, Various two man acoustic jams
and Kelly Bell Band. Played many types of venues from College
parties, Toys for Tots, Hurricane Katrina Relief, Frederick
County Blues Society and many others.
Education:
Bachelors degree in History from Mount Saint Mary’s University.
Brad "PBR" King:
Bass and Vocals
Background: Playing since age 6.
Invented the tilde.
Performance Experience: Played every style of
music with the Forgotten Youth, Injust, Hipnotix, Roots Arisin’,
Toots and the Maytalls, The Pietasters, Kailroots and Dr.
Dubenstein.
Education: Bachelor Jazz/Commercial Bass
performance from Towson University.
Bob "Happy" Magers:
Guitar and Vocals
Background: Singer and songwriter. Been
playing guitar since age 1. Collects Winnie the Pooh
memorabilia.
Performance Experience: Performed with Nice Guy Eddie, Two Steps from the move, Walkin’ Sam’s Dice, The Heebie Jeebies, Coydog, Hotel Iceland, David Morreale Band, Douglas Magers Duo, Michael Bob Group, Rod Deacey, and Sinkerswim.
Zac "Boots" Petersen:
Keyboards
Background: Playing since age 5.
Has webbed feet.
Performance Experience: Performed with Maynard
Ferguson, Ray Brown, and was a sideman for many bands.
Education: Bachelors in English
from Gettysburg College and a Masters in English from George
Mason University.
Joe "Cowbell" Link:
Drums
Background:
Teaching since 1977, all ages. Enjoys cat fishing and cat
juggling.
Performance
Experience: Has performed with Ben E. King, Jimmy Guiffre Band
and many others.
Education:
Graduated from the Berklee College of Music. Attended New
England Conservatory of Music.
Mike "Chops" Samborsky:
Trumpet
Background: Over 20 years playing experience
solo and ensemble work. Has in his will to be buried at Dogfish
Head Brewery including a 21 beer salute.
Performance Experience: Former member of the Virginia Tech Jazz Orchestra, Howard
Burns Jazz Ensemble, Current founding member of For Dancers Only Big Band.
Has performed with Joe Kennedy, Jr., Delfeayo Marsalis, Ellis
Marsalis, Tom Williams.
Education: Bachelors of Business
Management at
Shenandoah University with honors.
Jenny "Hot" Solano:
Vocals
Background: Over 10 years singing experience and choir
director at St. Raphael's Church in Rockville, MD. She loves
mulching in her spare time.
Performance Experience:
Various weddings and parties. Performed for the Pope at The Nationals Stadium April 17, 2008
for more than 48,000 attendees.
Education: Degree in Music Vocal performance.
